some updates!
trying to use this blog again! no new icons or anything yet, haven't felt like doing anything digitally and been focusing all my effort on traditional art, at least that's what i'm trying to do. i'm drawing a medieval tapestry type of thing at the moment with gouache and color pencil, mostly just as an exercise to get used to the process, but maybe i'll try to re-do it once i get some more proper footing...

i thought it might be fun to make a moodboard in preparation for the month of january and the new year, so i put together a few with quotes from berger's herbal rituals, including fun herbal recipes i thought might be interesting to try out, some pretty thematic (at least i thought) fragrances, pictures, books and film. my goal is to read at least one "classic" a month this year and try to read more nonfiction, so i've included two ideas for this month too, which i'm already currently reading (i updated this blog a bit late.)
